LOOKBOOK | Pants-a-slouching

I'm a firm believer in wearing pants with the right fit. The long and short of it is that it looks nice when your trousers have that tapered look, hugging you in the right places and yet leaving room where it should.

But sometimes, just sometimes, it's also nice to break away and just let loose.

Although my wearing loose-fitting pants here was born out of necessity--to conceal my biliary drainage bag--regardless, it's great to also wear something that's not restrictive, at least from time to time.

However, wearing something loose does not give us the excuse to look downright lousy. So if you're putting on loose-fitting pants, your top should be a little more snug. Conversely, you wear a loose top with slim-fitting trousers. Wearing something that's equally loose just doesn't look too good. There should always be some contrast. That's the general rule, but of course there are exceptions depending on an ensemble's style.

Now how soon do we get to Friday? I feel like wearing something like this again.
